Service Description

From white sandy beaches to oak thickets, this route meanders through a transition zone where salt marsh, spring karst features, and sand hills meet. This adventure is a great route for birding and photo opportunities. Paddlers with a keen eye will be able to spot the old "cat faces", remenants of the areas turpentining efforts. You may even spot a manatee munching on the sea grass, or see dolphins fishing for their dinner. Considerations: This trip is dependent on the tides, but is within protected waters and is good for beginners. This trip can be either a 4 mile one way paddle or a 8 mile launch and return. Price includes all equipment and gear needed to enjoy a safe day on the water, incluing kayak, paddle, life jacket, and whistle.
