Service Description

A bay, a creek and a lake.. oh my! Chaires Creek is a tidal creek within Bald Point State Park, and part of the Ochlockonee River Bay estuary. This paddle offers an interior look into the park and its flatwoods and marshes which offer an abundance of shore birds, fish, alligators, and a even a chance at seeing dolphins at play. Considerations: This trip is dependent on the tides, but is within protected waters and is good for beginners. This trip can be either a 4 mile one way paddle or a 8 mile launch and return. Price includes all equipment and gear needed to enjoy a safe day on the water, incluing kayak, paddle, life jacket, and whistle. Duration is an estimate and includes travel time, actual duration varies.
