Port Leon Loop
Port Leon was once a small port town on the Gulf of Mexico. Now it is just a resting spot for the Florida Scenic trail. Classified as an Extinct City, only remanents can be found today. This paddle adventure will take you down the St. Marks River, and into the tiny creek that once was the lead in to this town.
The entrance to Port Leon is highly influenced by tides and seasonal water levels, but is a leisurely paddle on the St. Marks River. |
