About the event
Join us on one of our favorite adventures on the Etowah River in North Georgia. This river is known for its scenic beauty, diverse ecosystems and its history during Georgia's gold rush. You will get to paddle a winding course characterized by clear waters, rocky outcrops, and a variety of riparian habitats. A winding course of clear water and rocky outcrops will keep our attention as we paddle through gentle currents and occasional rapids. We will get our blood pumping and adrineline rising as we follow a man made diversion of the river through a 1/4 mile tunnel that remains from the gold rush era. Read out post and watch the videos to learn more about this river.
